haha just using my phone, get 3.5G in my block. Weird tho go anywhere else on base and you barely gdt a signal. Not that you get much of a chance to use it.

They called the day I passed the fitness test for me, your AFCO could just be super busy I'm guessing.

Maybe give them a call?

Ill have to pop in, i dont have the number for the direct line to them, just the standard line from the website, the guy on there just said that it could take a few weeks

Well i quit my job a few weeks ago so once again looking ... and becoming more and more interested in joining the raf, but i dont know if i am cut out for it as i guess i would need to train a hell of a lot before going for it.

For the 9 weeks, yeh you need to be quite fit (mainly for the lack of sleep you get) but once your in the raf you just need to maintain a decent level, i passed my fitness test just before xmas, got 11.4 on the bleep test. Yesterday i ran for about 3 minutes and nearly died lol!!

What would you join as? Again i urge officer if you can.

Were any of you guys at a 2 or 3 day introduction last week? Just asking as my brother was, he's signing up to be a medic, just wondering if i need to tell him to be wary of any ocuk'rs down there

I've got my 2 day course on the 26th of Febuary too! Start basic on April 16th though.

I've not had anything about it in the post yet, I just got the dates over the phone about 3 weeks ago. Anybody know if I should have had info about travel etc by now?

Aced my interview today

My fitness test was brought forward to today and I passed that also.

Just my medical on Thursday to go and I should get my dates on Friday.

She told me that my dates were sorted over the weekend, and that she would send out my paperwork tomorrow and all should be well.

Passed my medical today!

With my fitness and interview already passed, my case will be reviewed over the weekend and I shall get my dates early next week :cool:

1st weekend off! And because of the snow we aint allowed off base. Altough we did just have a massive snowball fight on parde square. And n6 marching about.

Its pretty good now, getting more sleep and bit more relaxed with us.
