They both deserve to be starting but the problem they've (well Maxi's) got is that you have to play both of them together imo, which will limit their chances. I don't think you could play Maxi with Kuyt because you'd lack pace and I don't think you could play him with Downing either because you're then lacking somebody that can interchange with the central striker.
I've said before though, I get the impression that the club wouldn't mind Maxi leaving and that may influence the team selection.
edit: Chelsea will probably buy Maxi in January anyway
I'm not having a go honestly, but I seem to remember being one of the only people saying Bellamy was actually a brilliant player, and frankly at the moment while good he's not at the peak he was 2 years ago, but he's only just getting a run of top flight games and top flight fitness, though at his age not sure he'll get exactly where he was(as in being almost the sole reason City almost beat Utd a couple seasons ago before Owen stole it in Fergie time).
I remember City fans bemoaning how he's not really that good, I'm sure a few Liverpool fans on here were saying he wasn't good enough for a top 4 club.
He's solid, he puts in more effort than essentially any other player in the league, he's aggressive but rarely in a dangerous way, absolutely quality player and, I can't even remember how much Pool paid, whatever it was, was a steal though
chamack is useless and park none existance

that was our issue

we created enough chances to win this match but we couldnt score.
hate Nasri so good to see he was kept at bay tonight. frimpong was immense but chambalin was MOTM for me.
Chamakh was excellent up till he was dropped around xmas last season, this is a guy who has had 10 mins here and there, and sometimes weeks and weeks between even those few minutes. There are a few guys around who are awesome at being a supersub and not playing for weeks/months inbetween, there are plenty of players who are woeful without a run of games.
Its a tad unfair that last season we got more points and more wins with Chamakh in the team in the first half of the season, was arbitrarily dropped and hasn't got any form 11 months later, then call him crap?
Park hasn't shown anything since day one though, someone can be great in a crap and very weak league, Park has looked massively out of his depth at any level for Arsenal so far.
Chamberlain looks quality to be honest, he looks like Walcott, if Walcott wasn't such a ***** frankly, Walcott not scared to get tackled, tackle, or use his shoulder to barge someone out of the way, and frankly just better technical ability all around, uses his pace far more effectively. Sure Walcott lately has taken to kicking it behind slow left backs and running after it, he's still scared stiff to do it against someone who will be shoulder to shoulder going after it, AOC isn't.
Oh and what is the point of Nasri? Really? I'm not surprised, he's playing just like I thought he would, but he's even impressing me just how like Adam Johnson he is. Occasional moments of flare padded out by lots of disappearing acts and generally being ineffective.
Oh, Dzeko was immense. Wanted to win it all on his own ALL Game, pretty much eventually did, well in lad.
Yup, the reason I bashed Nasri mercilessly is, he'll only look good(mostly) against crap teams, he'll disappear, he's not someone to rely on, he's never in a million years worth over 15mil, he's not prolific in scoring or assisting and he's not good enough for Arsenal, let alone a City team going for everything.
He's good on his day, most players are, he's inconsistent, lazy, petulant and no where near as good as he thinks.
