Carling Cup Quarter Final Games - **Spoilers**

Seriously? lol when did this get made?

-edit-
Unless your pulling my leg!

Cant tell :( been drawing all day

It was a joke but lets be honest, would anybody be surprised if it was true?

edit: The goal looked offside. Will Taggart question whether this lino should ever get a game again too if Utd lose? :p

Quick question, say Man Utd win and Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City all finish in the top 4, would Cardiff qualify for Europe or would they need to reach the final? Or is it FA Cup only?

Only the winners of the CC get a place in Europe. If the winners have already qualified through the league then it goes to the next place team in the league not the runners-up, let alone semi-finalists. So no :)

And Ambrose has got a hell of a shot on him.

Cheers for that, was confused due to Stoke being in Europe this year

Stoke were in due to the fair play league (which is a joke for numerous reasons)

Right, thought it was a runners up / city already be in europe.

Back on Topic, come on Palace, lets hope for a Cardiff Palace semi, nice to see one of them in the final!

Stoke qualified as they were runners-up to City (who qualified for the CL) in the FA Cup, not through the fair play league. That was Fulham. For one reason or another, if the winners of the FA Cup have already qualified through the league then the Europa League spot designated for the FA Cup goes to the runners-up but not with the Carling Cup. Even with the FA Cup though, if both the winners and runners-up have qualified for Europe through the league, the Europa League spot would go to the next placed team in the league, not a semi-finalist.
