Carling Cup Quarter Final Games - **Spoilers**

Terrible showing all round.

Palace played far better, that Zaha (sp?) far better than either of our lads Morrison or Pogba that should've stepped it up tonight but didn't, especially due to what they've been saying off field.

Such predictable slow unimaginative approach play by United tonight.

Don't know why it's being hailed as one of the greatest upsets though. Credit to palace but only 2 maybe 3 of that team are worthy of being considered first team.

Well that was dire. :p Still, we got battered by Wet Spam at this stage last year and it didn't do us any harm.

Forgot about that awful showing as well. I think that was worse than this defeat to be fair.

I'd agree with this, it was an oppurtunity for youngsters to show what they were worth and for recent returnees (Smalling, Rafael, Fabio) and players on the fringe to get game time. There wasn't a creative sparke and they just looked naff.

Irritating that Rafael and Fabio are back out again it seems, made of glass they are.

It was Fryers who fell over twice.

Pretty poor showing from United, Palace defended well, fair play to them.

Thought Pogba and Morrison did well enough, but they just had nothing up front to play with/off. The left wing was non existant with Diouf, every time he had it he just either gave it back or came backwards to Fryers.
