Carling Weekend/Reading/Leeds

My Wednesday Passes have been dispatched, and SeeTickets are still waiting stock of My Weekend Tickets :-D
Not long now :-D

il be down there on the thursday night, staying in a staff compound though :( but if its anything like last yr il spend most evenins in yellow or brown camp if im not working :D

the only thing classy is the nice clean toilets and showers, the foods crap but free so i cant complain and the beer is a pound a pint which makes for much drunkardness and little sleep which means early morning missions to the public camps are always fun

Grrr At Pound per pint.. Humph.. OH well, Muchos fun purchasing drinkage outside and chundering in...
Much fun to be had I think :-D The weather better be nice

It's ok.. Campy Camping will be "funner" this year.
I am not taking as much stuff at all because I just didn't use it all the last 2 years.. Hmmm

16 Days until Reading for me and Meggy-V and Tom...

Anybody know of anything worthwhile doing on the Wednesday Night?
We were going to get some beers sorted, obviously put tents up etc.. Just party on down? Or go out into Reading?

[Edit] Anybody know of any Good Tattoo Parlours in Reading? [/Edit]

Has anyone seen the secondary barrier they have just decided to add to this years festival?

Totally pointless in my opinion, the best bit about being at the front was the fact you had no idea what was going to happen. If you don't want to get hurt then you stay away from the very front. I can see 1000 angry fans tearing down the barrier if the new sceme fails to work in the slightest.

On a lighter note make sure you are at REAPERS BRIDGE in GREEN CAMP at 00:00 Thursday night for the Pillow fight club.

If even 50 people turn up it will be immense.

Work mate has a spare ticket, so I'm going to be going to Reading now  really looking forward to it, my first festival, and also it's straight after my resits :D

Wednesday passes.

Now, MeanFiddler say you HAVE to book them but the Reading forum is full of rumours saying you can buy them on the door etc - people being certain about this apparently...so i ask you OcUk, which is true?

My friends all got early entry passes on the door last year. Think about it they can't have loads of people left outside all night blocking the entrance etc and its £10 for each into Mean Fiddlers coffers..

The map for this year is here by the way:

Best bit? LYNX MANWASH! You get soaped up and washed by scantily clad (think bikinis) women for a small fee.

See Video :http://www.manwash.com/fullview.php?vidURL=Lynx_Manwash

Oh and EA games truck for all the gamers with withdrawal symptoms :)
