US: Castle

Arrrrrggggg once again the eventual murderer didn't stfu and ask for his or her lawyer, they just told Becket everything.

Still a great show, though I do hope eventually someone with a grudge against Castle murders his mother and daughter.

I quite like his daughter:

I'm still a few episodes behind but I've been getting the jist of what's happening from Twitter. I can't for one second imagine that they'd kill off Alexis though, her leaving for uni or whatever is one thing, but killing the character would just destroy the show. Nobody could reasonably expect Castle (the character) to function properly after that.

It'd be very dark...obviously the show is capable of it to some extent - the conspiracy to kill Beckett in the earlier seasons was done well - but killing off a 'kid' is something else. The danger is it alters the mood of the show for good, or it's mis-treated entirely and Castle is back to work two days later with a smile on his face.

OK I'll compromise.

She's sold off to the sex slave trade and, in a bit of a twist, Liam Neeson buys her.

I just want Castle - like in the scene where he gets the address out of the injured driver - to go nuts Mal style!

Can't see them killing her off but some sort of ending that results in her going away for good could be on the cards I guess.

/she's defo getting nicer with the seasons - I'd outbid Liam Neeson for a bit of that ;)

Watched this right from the start and found it quite enjoyable, its gone up and done a bit but overall good.
Problem is ever since the 2 main characters 'got it on' you keep saying to yourself well that's it then, I still watch it though :D

Latest ep was I think the shows first to mainly look back on all that's happened between Beckett and Castle thus far, although the setup for it wasn't too bad but of course was predictable!

They've just renewed this for another 2 seasons. Must be doing well, i don't think ive heard of a show being renewed for more than 1 season before.

It's happened several times.

I enjoyed that, flashback episodes are usually pants but I thought that one was done quite well, loved the line about her changing hairstyles :D

I love Castle, my favourite TV show for the past few years. Nice to hear its been approved until series 7!

I think that episode was an extra episode the network ordered or something and probably shot after the the season finale was wrapped up. It doesn't even fit with the surrounding episodes, really bizarre especially when you consider Beckett's behaviour in the episode before and after it.

Anyway, I'm happy they've renewed the show, but I hope the writers come up with something fresh as its getting a little tired now. The storylines are just getting more bizarre rather than being well written and interesting. The comedy seems more forced and the two main characters have lost some of that witty humour and flair that made the first three seasons so amazing. Also Nathan Fillion needs to lose weight big time!

This is back on in the states now. Episode 5 was a lot of fun. The bit at the end, when Beckett (mmmm, Stana.....) split the coffee, her face was an absolute picture when she realised what it meant.
