Nice to hear the Liverpool fans still singing during the interview.
We can do them at Anfield, they were poor tonight.

I can't remember more than one or two passes, on the floor, that went forward rather than sideways or backwards. There's no point having all the possession when we can't create any decent attacking moves. I'm still confident we'll beat them but we need to learn how to play attacking football, and quickly. Well done Arsenal.

I agree. I thought the ITV4 commentary was awful. They kept making mistakes and I'm sure one of them kept rubbing himself whenever the name Gerrard was mentioned. We badly need him in the Premiership but in Europe some of our best results have come without him. They didn't seem to mention that at all.kaiowas said:We literally did nothing all game.
Before their goal they had a 1 on 1 with Reina, another good chance that was wrongly ruled offside, a couple of freekicks in dangerous positions and numerous corners. On the other hand we had had one corner and a speculative Riise free kick from about 300 miles out. Our passing was terrible and we gave away far too many silly freekicks
Quite why the ITV commentators were making out we were better than them tonight I've no idea.
Oh and when will someone tell Gerrard to stop taking corners, almost every time he either fails to beat the first man or plays a stupid ineffective short one.
