CHELSEA Manager Ancelotti leaves Chelsea

Chelsea need a word class manager who won't throw his toys out of the pram when the board do something he doesn't agree with. Couldn't be a worse pairing tbh.

Ancelotti was exactly that a 'yes' man, most managers would never accept their assistant being sacked. We need someone who isn't afraid to challenge the board.

Hardly a shock, I guess the only surprise is they've chosen to announce it on the same day that the season for Chelsea ended, figured they'd wait a week or so

Doubt Hiddink will take over tbh, he seems to prefer International management, no idea who they will go for though.... maybe the Porto manager? He seems to have next Jose Mourinho written all over him

Yes, some of your transfers were very large (*****[ing] money) for what they were worth and how they turned out. And for the most part the team was expected to win.

Without wanting to speak for Pigeon, I think you've missed the point.

Paying over the odds on players and what's happening at Chelsea are 2 different things. There's no single plan at Chelsea; you've got the manager trying to do 1 thing and RA trying to do another. RA's answer is simply to throw money at it and hope it works out.

edit: Using the Torres/Carroll examples; Liverpool (Dalglish/Comolli) specifically wanted Carroll with the idea of pairing him with Suarez. Torres on the other hand was signed by RA despite the fact that Chelsea's management didn't want or need him.

So he meant the interference from the board meant that they were a joke rather than the money spent. Fair enough.

Considering how close it was in the end this really is a ridiculous decision. Toys well and truly throw out of the pram. As a Utd fan though Chelsea with a stable manager is quite a worrying thought so im not complaining :p

This is true what we really need to do is sack the board :p but not possible sadly :(

If and when RA leaves, you'll be up **** creek.

I half mentioned it at the end of the January transfer window - I wouldn't be surprised if RA drops Chelsea in the next ~3 years.

His actions are getting more and more desperate, with UEFA's ffp regulations coming into play (and Chelsea showing no sign of meeting them) and his obligations to Russia's WC bid, it strikes me as if he's making 1 final push for the CL.
