If it was a single connector, then all they need to do it dismantle enough to get to it. Also the car wasn't entirely complete when it went out. Wouldn't surprise me if only a few of the fasteners were done up.

Left the pitlane with only 30 seconds to spare. Cutting it a touch fine there.
