What a Race!
Real shame about Schumie going out, would have been interesting to see what he could have done had it not been for his issues.

Button was a bit unlucky with his pit stop, but still did well. So pleased about Vettel getting demolished :) Real shame about Kimi though with those places he lost...

Webber did get lucky with that bump, but I bet it hurt...

How did said person "get demolished" when he dropped to 15th and was in 3rd with 4 laps to go? I'd say that's a good result in what is probably the 3rd or 4th best car this year.

Now you've given it away :p

Webber's done very well so far, only 9? points off the title lead in a carp car, quietly going about his business exactly as he did a few years ago and almost won the title. I'm almost certain a McLaren will win it (hope I'm wrong mind you) but it's becoming very interesting very quickly. 2 wins that nobody (certainly on here anyway, myself included) expected when McLaren really should have been challenging. I think once they get the "perfect" race together they'll crush most of the opposition.

The mclaren boys are already proving why two top drivers are important in a team. Both at the top of the standings - consistency will win this championship and it is something they are both displaying. Sensible drive from Hamilton and mclaren looking good for the WCC.

It seems to me button and Hamilton have almost switched characteristics.

Hamilton is now more cautious and far less reckless, which showed today with his overtaking. Being consistently on the podium is now important to him and not just winning.

Button seems to be going more all out to try and win. He's just not at the extreme of it like Hamilton was in his first years.

It's working for them both as they are leading the championship.

Dont see theyve swapped personalities at all - one of them is learning what it is to be a driver over being a racer and the other is just far more confident in his abilities than he was when he won the WDC

Congrats to Rosberg who I think would have still won it even if Button didnt have the long stop - he had just enough time in front to manage his race even with older tyres. Also its hard not to pat Webber on the back for his last ditch attempt move - meant a lot for him no doubt :). At least Kimi knows the 'cliff' isnt a brand of ice cream :p

Maybe they're testing a new wing that stalls at speed, regardless of the DRS being activated or not.

I recall the 'DRS Theory Video' showing the wing having a flap in the front which stalled one side of the wing or another (depending on direction in the corners) & stalled the whole wing at top speed. But we didn't actually see any evidence of that.. Until now?!

That pit stop with Hamilton an Raikenon was a bit close!
Surely 'unsafe release' ??

Pretty sure its not allowed in the pit lanes with the slower pit speed (i.e. Monaco) but allowed in other circuits if its at the higher speed limit and is wide enough. They just have to be within the pit lane line when they exit the pits and show some restraint (i.e. dont cause an avoidable accident), going 2 cars down the pit lane as they did was fine...
