Chinese Grand Prix 2014, Shanghai - Race 4/19

No, not all. ;)

I made it quite clear at the time that it was obvious he knows something others don't. I was right, always am to be fair :p

Writing off Honda before they have even arrived? Thats a bit silly

Remember even when they were in F1 a few years ago, their engine was always considered to be pretty decent at the time, it was the chassis and everything else they couldnt get right.

They had a good engine in the V10 era, but apparently the engine was miles behind when they left. It was meant to be heavy, thirsty and way down on power compared to the Ferrari and particularly the Mercedes, and massively lacking on efficiency and driveability compared to the Renault.

Post-Michelin, the chassis wasn't brilliant, but neither was the engine.

Edit: Thinking about Honda, I hope they and McLaren have learned a lot from the issues the teams had this year, and somehow manage to do an awful lot of ontrack running in an old chassis, or a road car or something, because if they have a pre-season twice as good as half of the teams had this season, they'll be miles behind. Remember the Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault power units are re-homologated next year, so they're free to almost completely change them over the winter if they want to, even ignoring the "reliability" upgrades they'll introduce this year. It isn't like the V8 era, where they were relatively static from the off - if Renault want to run the turbo between the vee of the engine next year, they can.

I wouldn't write Vettel off yet but I really would like to be able to soon

To me Hamilton is like Vettel and rosberg like Webber this season.. Maybe not that much but definitely he is better

Impressed by Grosjean today. Getting it in top 10,
Lodanado!

Hamilton needs the RBRs to up their game and start getting between him and Rosberg. I think Hamilton is a step above Rosberg, but if Mercedes retain their dominance then Rosberg will always be right there behind him, and a couple of additional retirements for Hamilton could be enough to lose it.

As I have said previously, although Hamilton has a slight edge over Rosberg as a driver, the fight between them will come down to who has the better luck with reliability/DNFs. I'm gonna be bold and say the Mercedes driver who finishes the season with the least DNFs will take the title. Recording a DNF in the double points debacle race will probably also result in that driver finishing as runner up.

Slimey slimey slimey.

Has utmost respect for Ron... Really?

Ted - Does it hurt when people start questioning your ethics?
