He wasn't on set at the time. Or at least not a film set. He goes off like a crazy man on Scientology promotional/propaganda pieces. He jumps on sofas. He goes on various talk shows and raves about the evils of psychiatry. He is proud of his craziness.

pah that doesn't mean nothing, I don't care how stressed he was or how under pressure he was you don't verbally attack and threaten to beat someone up like that for making a mistake on the job, it's wrong full stop, there are people in the world under a lot more pressure than he is, from people that have to govern countrys to people that are working over hours in run down hospitals where lives are at risk, do you think they could get away with threatening and swearing at a co-worker like that ?.

The dude needs a reality check, throwing a hissy fit becuase it disturbs his big scene, my god, he may not be able to get into character in a silly fantasy film, and not only threatening to beat the DP up but also threatening to leave like a school boy, this isn't the way you deal with problems, I don't care who you are, you have self control in the work environment, end of the day he is in a job and the people around him are his co-workers, if he has a problem with the DP then ask for him to be removed or take it up with the director.

You mention assumptions a fair bit previously, perhaps you should think about that one and have a spoonful of your own medicine? Just because of a few points and comments he made, you are questioning his intelligence and implying he is younger because of that?

Hey, how about I assume that you are 12 because your spelling and grammar is pretty damn poor/lazy? How you can comment on someone else's use of capitals mid-sentence whilst they made their point really baffles me. The ironing made me lol.

Also, for reference: Intelligence isn't proportional to age.

So asking how old he was as well as trying to pick apart the smallest details in what he wrote really shows me that you were the one making assumptions, whilst failing at trolling his posts.

The point that there are more stressful things is irrelevant, the fact that anyone cares about this is sad.

Sorry but I work in a high pressure, high stress environment and having a go is not only common place but is often the only way that people sit up, take notice and learn. Remember in the situation above he had been warned many times not to do what he was doing - but he didn't seem to get the gravity of the warnings. Filming time costs millions. If you don't get the scene it can mean another day of unplanned filming, which means set time, which means everything else on the to-do list gets pushed back a day or more. Logistical nightmare.

I bet you £1000 he doesn't play with the lighting now.
 
Don't see anything wrong with Bales reaction.
Acting can be a stressful, hard job. Without someone messing that up.

Bale was entitled to be annoyed, as you would have being in that situation.

Seriously though i probably woulda told him to **** off somewhere after about the first 30 seconds, it sounds near the end like he tried to get physical with the guy as well. :rolleyes:

I think the reason it's most annoying is because the DP couldn't say a word. Ultimately Bale would have left the set and refused to work with the DP, who would have been out of a job (and no doubt it would have set his career back). That's what makes Bale a complete pussy imo.. That and the fact that he sounds like my ex girlfriend during one of her schizophrenic 'episodes'.

Wonder if its going to be addressed by the angsty child if he gets interviewed in the near future?

Thing that got me was he just kept going on and on and on, pity he didn't get a slap to the mouth and told to go cry in the corner.

thank you so much for pointing it out, i thought i made it a bit too well hidden but thankfully i did not. you agree assumptions are bad? at least i didn't make a thread about it and my posts were in defense of someone rather then "attacking" bale.

out of interest do you agree with what mrk has said and think it was a fair thing to say?

and what i really love is how the assumptions the mrk has made have just been shown to be completely wrong (if the source is credible of course) by what Vanilla posted. however i hihgly doubt it will affect mrk views on bale, bale is still obviously a drama queen who doesn't care about his fans and does something thousands of other actors could do just as well etc etc.

i love how people will pick on cb (because he is better then them?) yet ignore when other people do the exact same thing, well not the exact imo it's far worse but anyway.

my brother has moved to canada, he sounds english but says a lot of words in a canadian accent. man he is such an idiot :) makes no sense to me :confused:
