Cigarette Prices

Never buy a deck from WH Smith. My god, nearly £12 for a 20 deck

Ouch, thats why I moved onto the roll ups. Which is ok in the summer but in the winter in the cold rain in a biatch. Been back in Alicante for 5 or 6 weeks and its 4.30 euro here, which is around £3.40 for 20. Im on the rollups here too though. 8 euro something for 50 grams of Cutters Choice, not the cheapest but I dont need to budget as 8 euros compared to the 25 or so euro that it would cost back in the UK is nothing really. Even though 50 grams at 25 euro or £20 is still cheaper than say 3 boxes of Marlboro Gold, that wouldnt even last nearly as long.

Chavs don't eat proper food. Mind you a lot of these namby pamby bloody "mate I go to the gym mate, mate, mate, cardigan mate, tofu mate" types don't neither. All juice bars and tofu and rubbish, not proper food.

Don't smoke or drink but if people want to do it let them. Don't think the prices should increase as they will still go out and buy it. Then be a bit short spending it on other things like bills, or if little Timmy/Jenny needs a school uniform.

Roll ups i find smell more than normal cigs and its a hassle to have to roll all the time. They are also never as satisfying as bought cigs as they don't compress the tobacco in the same way. I considered moving to rollies but just too lazy for it.

Depends what tobacco you buy, I dont find that Cutters Choice smells so strong and not at all as strong as the smoke that ready made ones used to leave on me. Its quite loose too and smokes pretty nice, just need to find the right filters and brand for you if you decide to move to rollies again.

How so? That is not normal behavior, that is the behavior of a chav.

I'm not arguing any further. I don't eat healthily and I am not what you would call a chav. Therefore your argument is mute. And it's nothing to do with my upbringing, I have fantastic parents. Quite clearly you're a a little bit mental so I'm going to leave it at that. :p

As for driving at 100mph... way to fly off the deep end and become very very childish lmao... i didnt realise walking past a non smoker would cause as much offence as over taking someone on a blind corner and nearly killing them.

I don't see what is childish about using an example about someone being selfish in a public area and endangering peoples lives and comparing it to smoking. Clearly you don't consider the effects of your 2nd hand smoking to be serious enough, despite the factual evidence suggesting you ought to be. Maybe you are actually that selfish that you don't care?

Also smoking is my one vice as it is for many. I dont drive yet when I walk down the street I breathe in way more chemicals etc that can ruin my lungs way more in a month than I can cause by offering around my 2nd hand smoke (im guessing you thing we walk up to people and demand they take it from us) can ever to a person.

I'm sorry, are my motor fumes congesting your lungs? Get off the street and in your pub, you have no right to moan about it. Do you see the issue?

When they brought smoking ban in SA in. It was years before it happened in the uk. But they were a lot more reasonable about it. Businesses could make a smoking area in their pub/restaurant, these already existed in most, the new rules were that they had to be a sealed area with separate ventilation. So most restaurants would have a separate area for smokers outside or in a glass room with extraction fans. That way everyone was happy.

When i went to belgium they had no smoking signs in cafe and pubs but they still said you could smoke if you wanted. One cafe i smoked inside the place under a no smoking sign and they brought me an ash tray. Much more reasonable about it.

UK went mad with it, they even banned smoking outside at a lot of places, 2nd hand smoke outdoors is 100% non existent. Unless you are kissing a smoker or trying to inhale it just blows away.

If you can smell it you are breathing it into your lungs

Smoking is chav behavior too. All the chavs round here often have a cig in their gob.

Smoking is pretty universal among the classes. I know people who live in multi million pound houses who smoke and I know factory workers who smoke.

The exception seems to be people in the middle class who like to think they're a bit special, like to pretend they're "all that".

Not what you would call a chav? What would I could you then, a scally? A scummer?

The very fact your parents didn't teach you the value of a good diet or good food is pretty much indicative that they failed in a major part of your life. Raised on junk food in front of the computer I'm guessing?

Thats my point, I'm not moaning about it as I respect that people like to drive around.
