I was tempted but given the extent of modding in the game I thought the extra buildings will soon be replicated for free anyway.

What really impresses me is the fact you can import real world terrain data (height maps) and someone has already made a tool for extracting it ready to put into the game - http://terrain.party/ it's not to a hugely detailed scale but should give a decent starting point for those wanting to recreate real life cities like myself.

Looks good, I'll be looking to do Edinbugh then! I'm just going to pre-order the standard, there might end up being a cheap upgrade offer at some point on a Steam sale later!

I went for Deluxe, I don't think I'm that bothered about the extras it gives, but just love the look of the game and am really impressed with the way the developers have gone about things. I felt it was still a great price and they deserved my money.

I'm sure some people will consider me quite the fool, especially as we live in an age where everyone waits for everything to be a fiver in a sale. :)

Not having pre ordered a game from Nuuvem before do you reckon that the keys will be released when the game is available to buy from Steam rather than any preload thing...?

I might just get a start of a campaign of Atilla going before this one lands, not long now :)

They seem to be blocking UK sales now though, and I dont fancy shoving my paypal or card details through a proxy. Oh well! Thank goodness for GMG's 23% off code.

I ordered it yesterday through FlyVPN connected as Brazil. I also did the same with Total War Attila and got that for £12.

But to each their own.
 
I'll probably pick this up a day or two after release tomorrow. I was burned by SimCity therefore I'm never pre-ordering again. The streams do look impressive though so I'm hoping that this will be a success.

I felt that same pain with SimCity. I also watched the streams and videos but decided to pre order anyway. Cities Skylines just seems right, even though I haven't played it.
