Cities: Skylines

amazing feeling so far, absolutely brilliantly done. Just done a tester city for 2 hours, ready to start a new one up now I have a little feel of things. I've downloaded the 25 tile mod from the workshop which is a must surely, should make for a huge city with so many different districts. On first impressions, this could be the go to builder for years to come.

Damn, traffic problems delaying my journey home. I'll try to design my roads to be better then those in Bristol, shouldn't be hard!!!

Bristol is a walk in the park compared to trying to get out of Bath in rush hour :(

I'll be getting this, I'm a little worried about losing all my time though, these games really draw me in and I find myself only getting 4 hours of sleep each night :D

I've not experienced Bath at rush hour, but I'll take your word for it. Bristol is generally bad, but one accident anywhere and the who city is screwed.

Anyway, go get it, 4 hours a night is plenty. :)

Really feeling the love for this

Did you say 25 tile mod ?

Perfect

This after a mere 3 hours I have to say is what simcity should and could have been

Havent done an awful lot so far, almost at 7k pop and taking my time.

Having watched people like Quill18 and their intersections, i have to say its rather satisfying creating a clean and functional area. Its not super easy, but if you take a moment to think about things and what would look nice and tidy too, its not hard to do it right. Yeah, you can accept the first route that works but its often ugly.

Im now trying to work to 8k for the dam, theres a cracking river next to the start location on Black Woods, and i plan on making full use of it.

Havent had any issues, and very happy so far. Will take a good while before we see new issues i suspect, few people have hit significant population numbers (200k+).

Thought I'd be clever and use some one way roads in my first minute of playing... Didn't realise they drive on the right and suddenly my traffic control was ruined.

You can change the side they drive on in the settings :)

Also FYI there is already a steam workshop mod to increase the 9 tile limit to 25 tiles :D

Even though I haven't got my new desk sorted and we've just moved house, I couldn't resist making sure the PC booted back up fine, downloading the game and just testing it out for a few minutes... :D

The curved roads tool took some head scratching but once it clicks, it's so simple but very good. Can see some beautiful curved cities being created.
