Clarkson's Farm

There's been so many press reports of things going on at the farm since the last series that I hope we haven't effectively had death by trailer. Clarkson's Farm was so good because it was totally fresh and different from anything he's gone before. A second series won't have that freshness.

Yeah, a lot of the 1st experiences would have been done, but i am sure the producers would have introduced more aspect of farming to him though, more animals etc. But the weather has changed this year, it's been a really dry winter i recall as opposed to a wet one from series 1.

I still will watch it though, it is different to everything else.

The eagerly awaited second series of Clarkson's Farm will see new animals and crops; Jeremy’s dealings with the local council as he attempts to diversify his operation with a restaurant; and Kaleb yet again saving the day on numerous occasions. You can expect a deeper insight into another year on Diddly Squat Farm as Jeremy aims to expand his (very) limited agricultural knowledge under the watchful eye of his no-nonsense team; tractor driver Kaleb, stone wall favourite Gerald, advisor ‘Cheerful’ Charlie, Jeremy’s better-half-turned-farm-shop-keeper Lisa and many more. Get ready for more farming faux pas, as we follow Jeremy & co on their agricultural adventures. The second series of Clarkson’s Farm will launch on 10th February on Prime Video.

What this needs is more publicity.

I can't see this second series being that successful, doesn't everyone hate Clarkson now?

Shame.

I can seperate the show from the less savory aspects of his personality, but a lot of people can't and that's fine.

The thing I liked about the first season is that it wasn't just a platform for him to bleet twaddle. He was often put in his place by people who actually knew better. That and the fact it was genuinely good TV.

One to watch, first series was great and really highlights what's involved in the industry, fair play to Clarkson for getting more eyes onto the subject.

As above, the others around him don't take everything he dishes out which is refreshing.

Looking forward to this, really enjoyed the first season. :)

Season 2 will do fine, no doubt it's going to be a huge hit for Amazon.

No, the vast majority of people haven't changed their opinion on him one iota since the first season. Why would they?

He is still an abrasive idiot who plays up to that side of himself and overreacts and uses ridiculous hyperbole to make his points. The number of people who got angry about the rubbish with Meghan is tiny and the vast majority of them wouldn't have watched anything with him in before that.

I wonder if Amazon will be keeping track to decide the future projects. The rumour mill is that Amazon have ditched him, but as far as I'm aware Amazon haven't publicly announced anything regarding the future of working with Clarkson.

As you said, nothings been announced. It's just the usual rumours and speculation, just glad were getting season 2 for now.

Wife might watch so I may join in for the ride.

It was at its best when covering the practical challenges of farming - the conversations he has with his helpers can be pretty funny but some of the humour was terrible.

Just how much mileage can people get over the same ‘joke’ (“I’m definitely correct in my approach” *does a terrible job of it / makes life awkward for other people*)!? He really needs to retire those dull routines :o

I thought the "Shame" would avoid this level of whooshing.

from what I read from a number of different articles, is that before clarkson article came out there was a lot of talk in wanting to do 4 season of clarkson farm and maybe more beyond season 4 plus more of the grand tour, but when the article came out, someone high up at amazon wanted to scraping everything in the works with clarkson, that mean no season 2 and 3 of clarkson farm as well as no on the upcoming the grand tour, but cooler heads decided to stick with the season 2 & 3 of clarkson farm plus the upcoming the grand tour. current info is that by 24/25 period no new or more clarkson related series etc to be produced, so no season 4+ of clarkson farm, no more the grand tour. so unless something changes between now and 2025 what we got coming is the last of clarkson with amazon.

I think its giving him a platform and personally I've no time for him. Also the joke of blundering into stupid situations due to boorish and stupid behavior gets boring after a while at least for me.

But if people can see past that and it works for them, I can see it working for quite a few seasons. It's very similar to the Top Gear formula.

Unless of course he offends just too many of the wrong people as it's his habit. I could see them doing a variation of a farm show if JC exits. As they did with TG.
