And how many hours of light on a winter day if we kept GMT all year?
obviously it stays the same if this is some sarcastic question..

shortest day is 7hours 49 minutes.
the sun comes up at around 8.04am, and sets at 3.54pm for london.

with+1 we would be swapping lighter mornings for darker afternoons then?

Could do with more light in the evening in the summer months, so a few hours would better IMO. It's daft it gets light at 4am. Would much rather be sitting having a beer in the garden at 11 while it was still light.

Anyone in favour of permanent DST is blind to the experiments done on this before. The US tried it in the 70s, everyone hated it. Russia tried it in 2011, everyone hated it. Russia switched to permanent ST in 2014 and everything was good.

The poll suggests otherwise!
I would love it

My watch went forward 2hrs!? Was very confused in kitchen for my early start. 2am on wall clock, 3am on Smart Clock and 4am on my watch. Had to sync with Garmin connect to correct it.

Well it was dark this morning but I guess it won't last too long. At least summer and mild weather is on it's way I suppose that's one positive of the clock changes.

Because they don’t know how to change the time on their microwaves.

I for one do, and really don’t mind it.

I’m okay with the microwave, it’s the hob that does my brain.
I did the kitchen wall clock last night, it’s all 9s and says, “No wine before nine”, and as usual it was 2 hours slow this a.m. so as usual I had to replace the battery.
