Cobra Kai

Finally caught up this weekend. Loved it. They tugged at the nostalgia heartstrings perfectly again, and I appreciate that they focused more on Daniel and Johnny as opposed to the kids this time. The setup to season 4 looks like it'll be a great season!

Daniel: “Where the hell were you?!”
Johnny: <eats pretzel> “No be there”

Absolutely lost it at that moment. Going to try and binge the whole season today.

i just cant watch it, Mr Miyagi was 75% of the heart of the originals. Daniel was just an impulsive fool without him

You're genuinely missing out if that's why you're not watching it. Miyagi was a huge part of the films for sure, but the TV show doesn't suffer without him, and he's referenced a huge amount for the nostalgia trip.

You get to see things from the point of view of Johnny and his rivalry with Daniel which is obviously a massive part of the films, but doesn't really explore his side of things. And the way that they've captured Johnny's inability to get himself out of the 80s is perfect.

Binged the whole lot and that was a great season 4. Way better than 3. The final episodes are epic.

Really loved that bit :cry::D

There are cheesy bits in it but the way they bring in the old characters and nostalgia is pretty good.

Only got first 3 of season 4 done so will watch more over weekend.

Woah. Just learnt that the bombshell relation of Daniel we meet later on is actually his daughter! :o
