Finished S1 last night and onto S2. Enjoying it depsite S1 being an almost identical rehash of the first movie. Reminds me of watching the force awakens haha. 'The hawk' zero to baddass overnight.

It's all part and parcel of revisiting the original characters from the original movies. The one you mentioned is both that actor's most recognised role, and a pretty major character in the whole Karate Kid story.

Loved Cobra Kai, and the Karate kid films to be fair.

I so hope they bring Terry Silver in at some point from Dynatox industries. What a man he was!

Watched 4 episodes and thought it was garbage. Maybe just not my cup of tea. Started watching Kingdom last night 1 ep in and like it better already.

I thought it was just part of the fun... let’s face it, I don’t even think it takes itself too seriously, that’s part of the series as a whole.

You watch it so you can switch off and bathe in the nostalgia for 30 minutes at a time
