COD: Black Ops III

My god is the Steam community toxic. All the reviews seem to be coming from people with less than 1 hours of play time and complaining about performance, "I have an I7-4790k and a GTX-980ti and my pc is running this game on 10fps on low settings WTF!" is just one of the many reviews spammed over and over again. Then the forums/discussions are filled with people who don't even know the game, and in broken english say something along the lines of "haha u shold of listen me!!!".

Half of the negative reviews seem to be "kids" (sorry to generalise) who stick everything on Max settings without knowing the capabilities of their specs and complaining they can't achieve 60fps.

Yeah I wanna see reviews from people who have significant game time on the previous two Black Ops reviewing Black Ops 3 GAMEPLAY!

This is PC gaming, it's not uncommon to have to do some tweaks on release to improve performance whilst they fix performance issues.

I'll be playing Black Ops 3 with my brother and a mate tomorrow for an extended period. After that if the multiplayer or zombies suck I'll be back here saying so!

Playing on Realistic Difficulty is well, realistic. The moment you get shot you're down and out. No mercy.

Quite a challenge just to get through the first level.

That sounds awful.

On a positive note, I've finally started doing well in multiplayer. K/D up from 0.3 to over 1.0 now(which is about where I'm usually at in these games).

And man, the maps are gorgeous. Like distractingly good looking at times. Matchmaking is also super quick.

Not touched single player only had an hour on multi player and I like it. The jumpsuit is much better than AW and in all honesty it doesn't get overused, same with the slide.

Games seem nicely paced, not had any real chance to setup my proper load out, perks, score streaks etc... yet.

Graphics in MP are ok, decent enough but not spectacular which is fine for me, it ran smooth but thats with a 5930k and SLi 980tis but they're only running at about 60% usage across both.

All in all they've made a decent effort which i expected from Treyarch, i can log in find a game quickly and have an hour or so of aimless run and gun. If people see it for that then it's a much better game for it.

It will fit along nicely with Battlefront as my go to multi player games and Fallout 4, Anno 2205 as my single player games. Keep me going through until next year easily.

Well sorted my problems out just put the graphic options to high instead of extra did the trick playing nice now looks like the upgrade to 16gig of ram is gunna happen sooner than later.

From what I'm seeing here and everywhere else, multiplayer is running very well. It's the single player campaign that seem to be causing all the trouble, performance-wise.

Not being funny but this is cod not the witcher 3. The game is running on a modified quake 3 engine....
There are so many people with performance issues its unreal.. 3 year dev cycle and they release a buggy as **** port is not on. I don't care what anyone says.
