Perhaps my Google-fu is weak, but the place that had it for £29.99 is now at £34.99, and I can't see anywhere that has it for £22.
 
Is anyone else conflicted between buying the PC version or the console version?

I was pretty much set on PC when heard about dedicated servers and the news that Treyarch generally have put more effort into the PC version than IW did with MW2. But, my mates are probably all going to buy it on the 360. Should I even be calling them my mates? :p

But, with the console versions you have an easy means for communication. But the console players are mainly douchers.

The PC version shouldn't have so many disconnect problems as the console.

The console version will probably be cheaper (hopefully £26 again) due to supermarket price wars.

Argh the confusion! I'm PC gamer at heart. I remember the good ol' MOHAA days. :)

Get the PC version and some new mates! Seriously how can anyone play FPS on a Joypad and get as much out of it as using a Keyboard and Mouse? :confused:
 
I will be getting this on the PC (only have a wii). PC mouse and keyboard is soooo much better but everyone i know who is getting it will be getting it on the ps3, it would be nice to play with people i know. In a way not actually owning a PS3 makes the decision easy for me :P

@ Dg i was under the impression that Activision had chosen a specific partner to be the only ones who can sell black ops server which they have contorl over, I am not sure the game will be that modable if at all? I really don't know though just an impression i picked up earlier in the games development.
 
Pretty disgusting that they all want £35 for it when it was 29.99 last week. Shocking price fixing going on.
 
As a general rule of thumb, I've always found FPS excell on k&m setup and football and driving games excell on pads.

theyve said there will be mod tools already its how long they take to come out though. in cod4 they wernt to bad but in world at war the mod support was poor (made by trey) and some very big mods wernt finished because of this. i hope this time with this game they are as i want to try to get zombies with werewolfs mod lol

When steam came out they wanted £40 for it, they all seemed to go up within a couple of days. I am glad I preordered for £30.

My issue is that I have a PS3 Xbox and a gaming pc, problem is my pc is playing up and I am waiting on my psu to be rma from OCZ, not sure I can last if black ops comes out and I can not play it. Do I buy another psu and possibly get a new one turn up later in the post or order it on the ps3 aswell?

Life is not straight forward.

Because some people prefer to use a pad?

If fact you get more out of using a pad than you do with a M&K.

Speed isn't everything
