COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Is this game like call of duty 3? been looking for a multiplayer like that one where you can just pick a class go out and just have fun for an hour and dieing doesnt mean a thing. In all the modern cods and waw i dont die to often but sneaking around all the time gets kinda boring.

Stay away from hardcore servers you'll be alright

Sure, you respawn as fast as you can press f... then all you have to do is spam your 3 stun grenades, 2 frag grenades spray n pray and die again then fire the lot again. 1 of the dumbest things about CoD games sometimes.
 
I can't understand how this game can be so broken. I just completed the Sleight of Hand Perk, so I pay my 3000, get Pro sleight of hand - which it says I have equipped but the Pro part is still classified'!?. When you go into the Perk, it says there is still one more achievment to get and the bonus perk is still 'classified'. But Pro is still apparently equipped in the loadout and my 3000 is definitely gone. This is like when it forgets you've leved up a few times. The game isn't even consistent in its brokeness.

Black Ops has not sold 7 million units on PC and all the problems with Black Ops are with the PC version of the game.

Based on UK sales of 2million, 55% on Xbox 350, 42% on PS3, that means only 3% of the 7 million units sold worldwide were on PC.

That's only 210,000 units sold on PC.

But the truth of how many people have experienced problems with never be known. The only thing we can say with any certainty is there really should be any problems with the game at all.

COD has had 5 games on PC using the same game engine, there have been a few enhancements since COD2, but not many. Both IW and Treyarch should should be releasing COD games now that are practically perfect and running well on lower specced machines, not increasing the specs a PC needs to run the game. What makes it even worse is the engine they are using is based on the Quake 3 engine and that's been around even longer.
 
Twice now I've been banned from servers for no reason. Getting fed up with butthurt admins that can't accept being crap.

Need a decent server to play on, with a decent clan :o
 
Not experiencing as much problems as most here (although its nowhere near as smooth as MW2 was). Athlon 2 x3 unlocked to x4 (so not dual core but by no means a great chip). A little stutter at the start of games and once the game went mental and just put a green chessboard on my screen till I exited the match. Good experience so far, graphics might not be great but I havnt noticed as ive been running around to fast to notice. quit camping and its not an issue xD

Only seen the_goon so far from here on the TFU servers. where is everybody?!?!

So I just prestiged for the second time, run my way up to lvl 14 in a mini marathon for a decent gun, only to find its been reset back to lvl 1 :):):) I giveup, this game has eaten enough of my time!
 
Right, time to get back to playing this game!

I got VAC banned the day after it came out, so I haven't been able to play at all - but now I'm unbanned... so point me to some of your server IPs :D

You didn't get banned for no reason, believe it or not, you did actually get banned for 'lying down'... Lmbo. :D
