COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

I fired up MW2 couple of days back with a mate to see how it was now and tbh BLOPS is vastly superior for me now even though it has some hideous faults.

MW2 is tube danger close heaven compared to Bflops.

Graphically its less colourful but really not that dissimilar.

the spas12 in MW2 is lolertastically still brilliant and my new found bunny hopping blickflaps skills made me better than ever.

i found the MW2 game pace actually slower than Bopflops which surprised me.
Also the Mw2 UI is hideous and huge compared to Blackops's's's

They are adequate. I think the art design and map design are dull though. Figuratively and literally: the colour palette of all the maps is washed out.

Except that's exactly what you don't get.

The game stutters like **** and/or completely freezes for a second and carry's on again.

hate to say it but it is true cod black ops sales = 7 million copies how many on here have problems? so imagine all those who can play versus cant posting on here . doesnt help but same 5 or six people posting same thing everyday wont either.

one guy posts about twenty posts a day saying how crap it is . if its that bad for you i guess youll never like it even if they fixed it and gave you free head :D just except its not gunna be your game move on. its a game theyve not blew up your house and stolen your missus . theyve made a game that plays for most well and some it doesnt.
 
I agree with what you say DG, but I'll also say that with any other product you are legally entitled to a refund if it doesn't work like it should.

There are plenty of really bad games out there and always have been, but BO sticks in my craw because I cannot play it and I cannot get my money back. That is 100% unreasonable.
 
Canceled my FAP/Gx server, can't be bothered to run a server/clan.

Interested in playing with some other clans though :)

So you'd buy a car hoping it works or it doesn't? Granted its a bit different but the analogy is all too clear.

You bout a Prius didn't you. Hows the accelerator? pedal?

I'll admit it has its flaws like all programs. They rushed it through testing to meet the deadline. Think of it this way the number of people out there with copies submitting error reports via steam its far far more than there Beta testers would have been able to.

The comments about the number of hits it takes to kill people. Change the game mode to Hardcore then you can kill people one shot one kill you also find less people using the stupid RC-XD's and the pace somewhat slower

Yes, already covered in the thread. Some of us don't like the long wait to respawn, lack of killcam and so on which is forced on you.

I wouldn't have a problem if it wasn't the same poxy engine used in COD4 which ran flawlessly. My pc meets the recommended specs but stutters horribly.

Yes it's a case of the vocal minority, but TBH what are you going to achieve by posting on OCUK anyway?
