COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

SP normally consists of 6 hours worth of thrilling entertainment, well worth a play through on hard. But that isnt why we buy the game at all, the endless hours spent on MP is where its at. Any-one that slaggs the game off for its SP shouldnt be playing games fullstop course they clearly dont know what their doing.

AWPC is talking rubbish, console can easily display the level of detail found in that video.

Uncharted 2 looks better than a lot of PC games.

I prefer my PC for everything but you really are talking crap.

With this sort of game other than Res and AA there isnt a great deal of difference in the graphics, but that alone will make the game look a lot better than a 720p console.

6-10? thats a massive gap, also i nailed the sp in 4 hours on normal last week on mw2

people I know well in the hosting game are saying they will need 15K + servers at launch based on the max ranked levels of 18 players (so 270K players on released day, feasible ?) and the whole thing is falling into the lap of one host.

Expect it to be as bad or if not worse than the P2P fiasco.

Pff, whats that to activision. They get your money. They get extra profit because of the exclusive deal. All they've got to do is send out the PR reps with the usual bull**** about how it was 'unexpected' and that it will 'calm down soon' and pretend it never happened.

while the MW games are obviously more about the MP I for one thoroughly enjoyed the single player even if it was incredibly short compared to the single player games i normally play.

I've lost 500 hours to MW2, i am pretty sure i would get similar enjoyment from black ops but am holding off for a bit, got civ5 Fallout NV in a few hours and F1 2010 once they fix the pit bug.

will definitely be buying, dedi servers is a real bonus.

i purchased mw2 and played it a lot but was in no way blind to its over powering flaws but im very excited to see what this brings, didnt like waw so hoping with the restrictions the era off we get a much better product.

Yeh gameservers are the only dedi reseller at5m. But those servers will be run by admins who shud be able to kick the hackers without any issues.
