COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

£40 :D

Hop on your bike, I would never dream of paying more than £30 for a game!

Though I am happy that finally Treyarch is putting some of the PC features back in, mainly the dedicated servers, but also the mod tools, and the developer console. I wonder who decided to put those features, Treyarch, or Activision top brass directly?

But, I don't think this is for me personally.

^ Meh, I already have it preordered for £30. So be it if it arrives a day or so late, it'll still be worth it for a 25% saving on the Steam price, IMO.

And it'll close to a 50% saving if chrisxuk divulges where he bagged it for £22.

im having to put my keyboard back together. MWF2 finally got unistalled. Akimbo lightweight marathon guy kept killng me and then magically ran to my spawn and over and over kept killing me. so thats cheating aswell. A game is not suppose to make you angry i dont known why i played this all year. My own fault.

I have seen akimbo in some trailers. If its in im seriously considering black ops.

If I buy it I think I'll buy it outside steam this time. By the looks of the steam prepurchase page, it doesn't have VAC btw, or it would say, same with steamworks, which are both a shame, I despise Punkbuster. :(

The following source seems to support these things though, so meh: http://www.codblackopsblog.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-pc-faq/

*Conspiracy theory*

They've probably not confirmed that it uses Steamworks on the purchase page hoping that peeps who prefer their games on Steam (like most of us) pay the inflated Steam price, when in fact the retail version does use Steamworks. There's even a thread confirming it somewhere on the Steam forums.

Edit - here's the thread, although not official I'm sure it would have been debunked by now: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1524503

I won't be buying from Steam at £39.99 that's for sure.

I love Steam, and they do some fantastic deals quite regularly, but they absolutely suck at pre-order prices.

P.S. Why is MW2 still £39.99 on Steam? :D

Good, gonna buy it elsewhere and activate it on Steam then. :)

Want a newer game key anyway, just incase I need to prove my Steam account ownership at any point in the future.

Some 360 mp footage, killstreaks are now more interactive. Also looks like the minigun is a carryable weapon around 3:35 in the vid.
