COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

You havent come across promod then have you, It is the best mod for cod4, its competition standard. Its about 2 shots to kill, possibly more but it fixes a lot which is wrong with the game.

And im sure that there will be a HC mode in the new game.

I have played a fair bit of promod, especially with my old clan, I just find it isn't very good for just jumping onto public servers, so end up playing HC all the time.

Whats wrong with quickscoping in MW2 on PC? It's the only weapon in the whole damn game that requires any skill.

Bought from steam. £39.99 is insane but I can't bring myself to buying a boxed version if its the game is on steam.. even if it means paying a premium.

Pre-loading now. Hope when we can unlock this they get it right this time. MW2 was a right mess last year.

Hopefully they dont have rank hacked servers like in MW2, there you could get to max prestigue rank in a few hours and completely destroyed the notion of pretigue

Hmm, this seems correct, so our 2nd server will probably be un-ranked and set to a "fun" gametype/weapons restriction when not being used for matches.

Mine was shipped Thursday evening around 6pm. I did get an email like a week before saying that I'd be charged earlier than normal, as the courier would hold the game till release day :s Hope it arrives Monday so i can get playing at midnight.

You also lose all the perks you unlocked, these give you an advantage over new players. What you gain (in MW2 anyway) is an extra class and some new achievements to work towards which unlocks new titles etc.

Going from a high rank with everything unlocked, back to the start again is a big step down.
