Yeah I am surprised it doesn't let me install the data off the disc yet - but I figure it's a bit silly me downloading 8 gigs when I can just wait till tomorrow.

Awsome that gets better, are you telling me that BO supports up to 12vs12 multiplayer??

Thats a 24man server......

I thought BO was capped like MW2?

This is my biggest obsticle to buying this game. If the team sizes are not bigger than in MW2 then I may as well just go and play that.

This I dont like about steam. You buy a retail disk, sometime up to two DVD you get home, wack disk one in to the pc.

It loads a little steam installer, you install steam wondering hmmm I thought Id bought a game here not steam.

After steam installs and you create a profile for the first time, you get to install the game, but rather than install from the TWO dvd's that you bought it decideds to download the game!!

A. Why provide dvd's if your just going to download. They should just give you serial and thats it.

B. How do you force steam to install from DVD? Is this possible, to have steam integration, having installed frm DVD?

The only reason it isn't installing from the DVD is because the game isn't released yet. I have bought other Steamworks games and they have installed off the disc (albeit sometimes have then needed to fetch some newer files off the internet).

No not at all, starting playing CS at version .7 and played for around 5 years. I just have an aggressive style and don't enjoy games which are more suited towards camping.

To be honest if people choose to run around with double shotys and you find it annoying thats really your problem for not actually having the skills to deal with them. I couldnt care if somebodys a camping or a double shoty runner its up to them how they play the game. Also I love how people perceive snipers to be more grown up than other players :confused: . before i get accused of being either my weapon choice is the famas all the way

What a load of crap, The reason Games like UT, Quake and CS are the best games of all time is due to the high intense run and gun game style, If they didn't have this style of play they wouldn't still be played even today.

There is a reason why world cyber games etc adopted these games for massive pay cheque tournaments is due to the game play of these games and massive following,

Go and enjoy your camp fest boring sniper games. That's not FPS it's a bore fest end of.

i know it wasnt but wat new online FPS are more than 32, its pathetic, Bf2 wasnt exactly massive maps you still had a limit and nade spam is a joke on that to. but i guess this cant be fixed:confused:

had a 64 man cod 4 server full for yr solid :p over 50 man is silly and no server in the world would stop the lag on some maps. also after 50 man there are bugs with the cod engine.

when the caps are either lifted or mod tools are available like always they will make 50 man servers. just have to see how long it will be before they get them out. there deffo will be bigger servers though.

Mostly agree with that Locky. I have nothing against sniper but they are the type of player to throw their toys out their pram when they keep dying and have a tendency to look down on other players. Hopefully its going to cater to all playing styles as i love getting behind a sniper and knifing them or blasting some crazy dude running directly at me :D

RE: iamtheoneneo - I'm sure he loves MOH - worst multiplayer game I have ever played. Almost all the people I know have sold it. Unfortunately I have it on steam and can't sell it :mad:
