I wouldn't say MW2 looks awful, quite the opposite it looks pretty damn good to me. Black Ops will look at least as good. Just because an engine is old doesn't tell the whole story, obviously the Quake 3 engine on which modern CoD games are based, has evolved and been updated massively since it was first made.

The console versions won't run at the high res or probably the detail settings the PC version will run at.

We don't know what the devs will do to support this, but we do know it has dedicated servers which are on a single host, which limits if not completely rules out people running hacked servers etc. They also said they will be employing dedicated staff full time to identify and ban cheaters.

I agree with this. I really like MW2 and the graphics on it. I think it's wicked. Sometimes I just get lost in the moment. It's not too OTT that you just end up looking at grass but it's good enough and well I love it

Ah, an intelligent response.

I played MW2 and I played it a lot. Then BC2 came out and I all but forgot about MW2, after a while I went back to it and I was constantly comparing it. The fact that theres no destructable enviroments, no team play and in comparison the graphics looks dated to me, I was quite shocked at how bad it looked when I went back to it.

As for the cheaters, i'll beleive it when I see it but fair point and if they follow it through i'll be tempted to pick it up at much cheaper price
