Treyarch press statement re sh***y MP gameplay on PC
Mine arrived - empty package. Not impressed :=/.
Nothing to do with Treyarch, it's steam.
All I was expecting was MW2, but with dedicated servers, new maps and a few tweaks to the killstreaks and perks etc.
That's all they needed to do.
How they could balls it up to this extent defies belief.
Steam don't write their netcode for them.

Dame straight, that would have made the game better but the talent which made Modern Warfare 1 what it was are no longer with the company and Treyarch team will probably find it hard to emulated the effects of the original COD team. It will never go back to how it was unless they reformed or Medal of Honour took its place.
As for the lack of dedicated servers, I think that's a more of an Valve/Steamworks issue and that's what you have to go with if you develop a game to distribute with Steamworks only. But I could be wrong on that.

Correct.Just a quick double-check of something I think I already know.
I want to get this on PC but if I do that I have to activate with Steam correct? So there will be no re-sale value?
OK, report back from home, postmans been, but nothing from Tesco
Maybe a blessing?
If it is a Steam issue, would that mean that everyone who purchased from D2D is having no problem with the game? Does anyone know if that's the case?
With this game, D2D just send out a cd-key which you put into steam.
Update. Royal Mail van just dropped off the game. So I guess I'm missing 24, not Cod. Bring it on.A Jersey-based online retailer of DVDs, CDs, books, gadgets, video games, DRM-free mp3 downloads, and other electronic products, as well as clothes and accessories.
