COD : WaW Beta

Just a quick question, do you think CoD: WaW will be as good as CoD4 (in terms of both single-player and online of course) or are we getting another rather crap installment in the series from Treyarch?

anyone that pre-ordered had the proper beta code yet? or just the one for firsttofight or whatever that site with the themes was.

How on earth can anyone answer that.

I am hoping for a decent game as it is using the same engine as COD4. Hopefully they have simply improved on what IW did with 4.

Only the theme one here for me so far ... I don't think the beta release is until sometime next week.

activison as now sending codes aswell as of 20ish mins ago, i think thats where our keys will come from

gamestop (US) were sending the others out

Fingers crossed then they are not that far away

I really hope it was worth pre-ordering, I know I can still cancel it but I'm kinda looking forward to returning to WW2 as long as it is done CORRECTLY ... and I HOPE the environments are destructable like in BF:Bad Company as that really makes that game IMHO!

from what i've seen in the vids and heard from people already in the beta, its pretty much cod4 with ww2 weapons and dogs. co-op should be a laugh

Oh dear .. the age old saga looks to continue then :rolleyes:

hmmm I can see my pre-order getting cancelled at this rate unless the game has a serious fun factor that the others lack, or something new added, flame throwers seem like they could be great fun though

didnt get an email, but downloading the beta now

If you didn't get the e-mail, follow these steps:

1] Log into CallOfDuty.com
2] Click "My Account" on the Dog Tags at the top.
3] Click the "Account / Profile" sub-tab from your account page.
4] Right at the top should be the "Call of Duty: World at War BETA" section.

I have pre-ordered and did that French thing, but I have received NOTHING.

Also, I can't remember my username or password for CharlieOscarDelta so I cannot migrate my account to the new COD.com thing

I signed up at CharlieOscarDelta a very very long time ago and just transferred my account but I can't login into the forums, it keeps chucking me back to the login page.
