I think I'd get a Nespresso then. The old style where the pods are now available as 3rd party.
Have you tried Tesco? The big ones take them, or at least the ones near me did before Covid came along.Nope.
I'm amazed they don't do some sort of recycling scheme like some of the others.
My parents drop their used Tassimo pods at one of the local charity shops. Somehow the charity shop gets some money and the pods get recycled. It might be worth seeing if any of your local charity shops will take them.
Between sahets or bottles?Any preferences?
sounds like robbery - for espresso macine I now use citric acid powder, 500g for £2 and like 40g/1litrewater per descaleDon't mind paying the £13 for a box of 2 sachets but when I look online and see you get 500ml bottles for half the price. But non nespresso branded.
For people with Tassimo, Dulce Gusto and Nespresso machines, it looks like they're collaborating to launch a pod recycling service next year:

Yep, single biggest source of single use, non-recycleable plastic for me, by miles, especially now I'm working from home. This sounds really cool - I like Tassimo drinks personally, but the amount of throwaway is pretty depressing.
You can but it will be weak coffee. You'd need a finer grind. Can I buy ground coffee I'd normally use for a caffetiere and put it in a reusable pod (assuming you can get reusable pods?)
