Coffee table build

As promised a few more pics of the (almost) finished shizzle, we added a few more fans and some radiators, this thing keeps temps well in check and its overkill on most areas.

Its rigged up to a 65" plasma for home cinema with a yamaha natural sound amplifier pushing 7.1, fronts are 1960's IMF transmission line speakers and the rest are 1990's tannoy sixes.

Absolutely superb mate, I never thought of using the Ramvik coffee table as a PC case, it works really well though. It's just a shame Ikea don't make that table anymore :(
You've done a cracking job though and the layout of your components is really good, and displays them nicely.

I have started to game on it but to be fair there is no real difference between my xbox one and this machine unless I am playing in 3d.

I know that this can do 4k resolution so as soon as I can upgrade my TV to support that then the XB1 will be come redundant in the gaming department, it is a pity I will not be able to play halo 5 in 4k as the prices of 65"-80" 4k screens are crazy at the moment.

Please see this thread for the riser info buddy.

mate one thing, are those blue LED lights dimmable, as I personally would find them a bit of a distraction while gaming.

I see your point, yes they are dimmable via the controller if you mean the fan lights, the unit is on my right hand side slightly behind me so it's not too distracting but if lights are the sort of thing that put you off easily it could be a problem.

I have had thing folding for hours on end now and temps do not go over 60c anywhere, warms the room up though .

T.F.S I'm trying to talk her into it as we speak!

Great work though - Im building a computer desk at the moment as I can only fit 2 monitors on the desk and have 3 - No point the 3rd being sat there without being used!

I personally want it for aesthetic purposes.

plus I like the idea of Nvidia Surround.

a single 30" inch screen was just too expensive for what I could budget for if im honest.
