No, that's why I said like Victorian and Edwardian houses!

You pedant :p
Surely you were implying that it is mainly old houses which don't have air con :) I expect the vast majority of houses don't have built-in air con. As for portable ones, there is no barrier to putting those in any age or type of property.

So I'm not really sure what you were saying there tbh :p

Had to get out my second duvet this morning, I need to get a damned space heater for my room :(

I've got to play rugby this afternoon in Harlington (the coldest windiest place in London). I hope the ground isn't too hard!

BURN THE INFIDEL!

Does anyone know what temperature it has to be for you to start seeing your own breath?

I only ask because I woke up a couple of weeks ago in my uni house and it was very cold and I could see my own breath. :(

We have a very itchy housemate who keeps on turning the heating off even when it's very cold. Very annoying!

At a guess, under 10C ish. It depends how warm your breath is as well, eg. after drinking coffee or eating a hot meal your breath will be warmer.

run folding on 10 PCs in your room, that will keep you toasty!

Bunch of whinging pansies you brits are:p

Mind you saying that it was kinda nippy this morning but nothing too bad i guess. Heard that there is some snow on the way, i just hope it falls around where i live...would be nice to see some snow for a change.

On a different note, if you think -4c is bad then id hate to see you bunch of pansies in Winnipeg Canada where it was a reported -30c but feels like -44c..... Now take that and shove it in your crackpipe you lot...
