Thought you could change the fan speed through speedfan ?

If you're talking about the cpu fan then set it to full not auto and see if speedfan can slow it down

Should I set it to full auto in the bios. MSI boards also have this smart fan thing in the bios for cpu coolers should I mess around with that.

Speed fan only llets it go at the percentage I put it at and then the cpu fan speed doesn't change.

Set the CPU smart fan in the bios to 50/37.5% until the CPU reaches 50/60 degrees.

Yeah if you want to be the one in control then you disable 'auto' in the BIOS

Ok doing that now.

I changed to those settings.

This is off topic but when I boot up the system there is a little mark in the top left hand corner and the number 98 in the bottom right hand, it stays there for a few seconds. What is it.

The fan is still prety loud after changing the settings in the MSI bios. I don't think it's changing in speeds as well.

Check using speedfan don't guess

If it hasn't changed try disabling smartfan auto completely as I initially suggested

Problem is fanspeed keeps changing it how do i stop it from doing that?

Blank means stop the fan from spinning ... Not too bright btw from your screen grab you have auto toggled in speedfan - toggle that off

Think you're going to have to get used to it or upgrade the fans

ps If it sounds that loud then your ears are going to hurt when the 570 starts getting hot during game play

Try it, monitor temps under load (CPU fan should shoot up to 100% under load) and if they're too high change them to 75%.
