Don't be silly. The planes are flying around looking for other planes in the sky. MH370 could still be flying.
It's to find it, so they can direct boats in.
Oh dear...

Of course it pre-dates the incident it's not like they thought it up yesterday.
Don't really see what the bother is about TBH.
It's to find it, so they can direct boats in.
#1) If the plane went down in the ocean, it would have broken up on impact and debris would be easily spotted A Boeing 777 does not — and cannot — survive impact with the ocean and remain intact. It simply does not have the structural integrity to survive such an impact, which is a lot like hitting a cement wall at terminal velocity.
They claim the plane went down in the Indian Ocean without flying very far at all.
Anybody want a good laugh? My idiot mate posted this on Facebook and I couldn't help tearing it apart, it's the worst written article I think i've ever seen
Thai satellite photos http://www.bangkokpost.com/breakingnews/402047/thai-satellite-spots-possible-wreckage.
25 days into the Air France Brazil crash they'd recovered 50 bodies and 640 items of actual debris. 20 days into this and nothing so far.
The search moves and will now focus on an area 1,100km north-east of the previous zone. It's being done because more analysis of data has shown that the plane was going faster and therefore using more fuel. This get more farcical by the day.
So now they've decided that once again they were looking in the wrong place. Great.
So, despite all the debris seen through several different satellites, not one piece has been found by a boat ?
The ocean is pretty big man
Did you know?
