Continental Football **spoilers**

cos they are stood about for long periods of the game and dont run around like other players? I imagine it is quite cold its like English weather there lol

And get in Messi what a goal!!!

It was at an awkward height and he was chasing back pretty fast but even despite that he should have got a stronger connection with the ball. It might have come off his knee in fact. He nearly did a Phil babb with the post but I think it connected with his standing leg rather than his 2 round circular chest nuts.

Drenthe should have scored his 1 on 1 chance but he doesn't seem a natural finisher or does he usually get in those sort of positions. I was thinking go round the keeper but he just blasted it at him.

Overall theres no doubt barca derserved the win but Madrid defended really well considering how bad they've been in recent times. Cannavaro and Metzelder looks like a decent partnership. Pity one is 35 and the other has ongoing injury problems

Henry playing like he did at Juve for Barca

Both used him as a winger I believe. See the correlation in performances? :D Okay so his role in the front 3 isn't an orthodox winger position but we all know what he wants is that centre spot, but its never gonna happen with eto around

Barca were bound to win it in the end, was just better fitness levels. Real had decent chances but you cant defend so heavily without conceeding in the end usually.

Plus they had CL mid week in which nearly all the team played and barca rested everyone? Few 30+ somethings in the team against the likes of henry/eto/messi doesnt favour them either.

Must admit Real did look pretty damn solid at the back which for La Liga is quite an achievement ;)

Some pretty good games coming up:

Sevilla v Villarreal
Real Madrid v Valencia
Villarreal v Barca

If it was the equivalent in the Premier League Sky would be having Super Duper Sunday or whatever.
