Continental Football **spoilers**

Its all to do with a weird fixture schedule the league have done. A team has to play the supposed top 4-5 teams in straight games.

It's probably aimed at the end of the season. They will play the 2nd 1/2 of the season in the same order that they played the first, so all the big clubs will play each other in the final weeks.

Dunno if anyone saw it, dunno if it was even on Sky actually, but Barcelona beat Atletico in the cup 3-1.

Messi scored a hatrick to take his seasons goals to 19 in all competitions, can he beat Ronaldo's total of 41 from last year? Don't see why not (as long as he stays injury free).

His previous best total goals in a season was only 17 in 36 (currently on 19 in 21 atm).

Here's the goals:

This post probably sounds embarrassingly sycophantic, but he really is that good.

On current form he's the best player in the world and easily rivals, if not betters, Ronaldo's form of last season.

Barcelona will be the team to beat in the Champions League if Eto'o, Henry and Messi stay fit. Quite simply the best attack in the world.

Eto'o: 19 Starts, 18 goals, 2 assists
Henry: 18 Starts, 11 goals, 5 assists
Messi: 18 Starts, 19 goals, 9 assists

Disagree. Undoubtedly they've got the best forward line around atm but their midfield, defense and keeper are collectively so far behind the other top sides. They'll certainly go close but imo ourselves, Utd and Chelsea are better overall teams than Barca.

Anyone who wants to enjoy some absolutely breathtaking attacking football, watch Valencia now at home to Villarreal.

Absolutely phenomenal. Mata, Villa, Joaquin, Silva are tearing them apart time after time.

That goal from Messi was unbelievable. He's shown it before, he's got a really great strike from distance.

Apart from aerial ability due to his height, this kid really doesn't have much of a weakness. Still only 21 too. Wow.
