US: Continuum

I don't know if it was that us ratings were poor as syfy decided not to bring it to the uk syfy before s3 has even started in canada. I think it was just them being cheap and rubbish.

A lot of people didn't like s3 compared to the first two seasons, i think it was good but i still did enjoy the first two series. I think it has continued to evolve and as per last episode s3 i think s4 has the potential to be completely different than all three first seasons. season 3 definitely picks up near the end as a lot of people that didnt like it said that the last 5 episodes changed their minds about s3. This is as per the imdb forums.

I thought it was just going to be liberate vs corporate congress but it seems there is a lot more to it than that.
 
I saw the full season 3, within 2 days.
It was decent. Not great.
I liked the ending of the final episode.
"What should we do now? RUN!"

It would be interesting to see the damage that those robots would do in the current time.

What I didnt like was Kiera having a love interest - I preferred to think of her as a super soldier/officer, rather than a lover. Also, she has a family in her own time.
 
The season was definitely weaker but i didn't think it bad enough to warrant cancellation. Fingers crossed it does get renewed and they can get back to the feel of the first 2 seasons.
 
That isn't many. Surely it can't be doing that well in Canada, otherwise surely they would have renewed it for 10-13 episodes. Unless Canadian audiences alone are not enough. Not really sure what they can do with 6 episodes.
 
Maybe the episodes will be slightly longer, balancing it out. Something similar happened with The Killing, and they made their last season of 6 episodes longer, I think they were 1 hour long instead of the usual 42~minutes.

It's the same sort of time as 10 episodes, but, might be more convenient. Or maybe that was just a product of being on Netflix, where they don't need to be 42 minutes to allow enough advert breaks in an hour slot.

Still, more is better than nothing either way.

enjoyed the 1st season, even half the 2nd, but it got a bit too stupid
