and yeah, the one saving grace for you is that you did it yourself, i certainly think if i were to eat meat that'd be the only way i'd do it, i think if you turned around and told most people in this country they had to kill their own food they'd sooner not eat meant
the general british public seem to be far to squeamish and keen to let some one else do the dirty work.Pathetic.
If you're going to cook a live crab, show some respect for the creature rather than tormenting it. You're acting as if it's your plaything.
If you absolutely have to kill a live creature in order to eat it, make it quick. Pratting around tapping it on a kitchen counter and then dunking it in boiling water so it's agony is prolonged is completely irresponsible.
God that was hilarious, particularily when you got the crab half in the boiling water so he half boiled to his death. I did feel for the poor thing though. Several blows to the head followed by slow immersion into boiling water. Nice to know he died quickly and painlessly

Supposedly putting them into cold water and bringing it to the boil slowly is more humane (they fall asleep or something as the water warms).
I didnt want to try this on my crabs so instead i put a knife in the bottom and cut towards the back. There's lots of videos on youtube showing how to do this and supposedly its very humane.

come off it mate, at least he stunned it first ffs, not like the french do with frogs, and the crab didn't live a life couped up a dank dark enclosure barely big enough to accommodate it like many farm animals in this country
