You can't stun a crab by tapping its upper shell. You have to be a retard to think that. Think for a moment why the crab has hits upper shell, and what it is able to withstand in nature. Tapping it on the counter isn't going to stun it.

People have different conscience thresholds.

I'm not fussed about insects, arachnids and crustaceans. My threshold seems to bet met at the reptile/amphibian level.

i should have said 'tried' (at least now he knows what to do for next time (ice water or stroking it), even so, haven't you got more important people to pursue for animal cruelty?
