Coolermaster ATCS case pics

It's in superb condition. A few scratches in places that don't see the light of day (like under the PSU), and even the fans were unused.

Incredibly chuffed. Just shoved a Phenom II 720 Black Edition (unlocked to x4), MSI 880GM-E41, 4GB DDR3, 2x 320GB HDDs in RAID0, into it. Possibly a CoolIT Eco A.L.C (if my 120mm fan idea fits properly) will be fitted at the weekend.

I still use one of these

The PSU is currently sitting on the bottom of the case to make room for a bigger heatsink. It's a shame they designed it so the PSU sits where it does :(

Every so often I will look at new cases on the market but nothing appeals more than this.

The only one I would consider swapping it for would be one of these (which I believe they never sold in the UK anyway!):

Bacl then the front and side panels were real glass weren't they. I remember at around that time my first Antec case had no window so I dremeld one in the side panel and glued a glass panel in there from a local store and people were "REAL glass???!".

Awesome times and brilliant cases^

Brings back memories this thread... I used to browse these forums nearly 10 years ago and check out everybody's top-end rigs. Most people had these at the time and I used to wish I had one. It was only a few years later that I could afford one but by that stage ATCS had split from CoolerMaster.

I know it's not technically an ATCS case... but meh!

I got it in early 2004 and have been using it since. It was only last month that I demoted it to backup PC duty. I'll never sell it. Nothing comes close to the build quality of these things. Everything is built perfectly and well thought out.

The rigs I had in it was as follows:

Barton 2500 with 9800 Pro :D
A64 3200 with 6800GT
X2 4400 with 8800GTX
Some Core 2 Duo (I forget) with 9800GTX

Currently running a Q9450 with a HD 5870 as my backup pc.

Will try and get some pics up, but I'm still running my original Coolermaster CM201-SX2 and am dreading the day that it becomes obsolete. It been through many revisions of cathode tubes, leds, glowing fans, fan switch bay mods, matrix orbital displays, but the actual chassis is still completely original. The only semi-permanent mod it has is that I changed the green tinted perspex side panel for a blue perspex side panel off either a 210 or a 220 (cant remember).

I am still absolutely gutted that I sold a brand new, boxed and unused Black Widow (with 2 of the special blank plates) thinking I wouldnt miss it....

Have also owned several others 201s, 210s and 220s along the way.

They really don't make them like they used to.

Well these cases may be rather old now but I tell you, you guys built some beauties out of them anyway, as a CM fan it's nice seeing what they used to stock in the past :D

I havent posted in a long long time but this one got me out of the woodwork! (and the fact i need to replaced the fried PC). I have the Black Widow and I'm considering a new rig....the only problem....80mm fans. I love the case, but I'm not sure I can find anything else that will match the quality and take 120mm fans....

Using the new ATCS 840 case myself wish they still did them Flush Drive covers would love to get one in black for my dvd drive.

I wonder if there are any 220's still about? I had one back in 2002 when they cost stupid money. Apart from the garish ATCS logo they were better designed than my recently acquired 210, which is in my cupboard and tempting me to spend monies ;).

I am still running this very case... and have been since 2002 :)

This was how it looked a year or so ago... has an x6 and still the 5850 in at the moment. Will post some new pics up later.
