Odd , it shows similar to ntune for me, I can sit in the bios for a while and cpu temp settles around 38, system 34 and mcp 44, yet ntune tells me on idle my system is 44 and cpu is 51 !
Having had the HSF off and reseated 3 times (and thats a pain with the Tornado lol), I am pretty sure that the bios is about right and the others are telling me porkies ;)

Ok after some insane temps last night, I think I need to rethink my cooling.
Tuniq Tower and additional cooler/case fans on the way, I want to keep it quiet and cool ;)

a better one , using p5b-dlx though

CPU certainly has more in it. Can't drop the CPU voltage any lower which is a pain too. These are 24/7 settings hence low voltages etc. CPU to be tested in P5B at somepoint as I'm FSB limited in the AB9 at the moment.
1.2ghz overclock at under stock voltage on the stock cooler isn't too bad though, especially since it was a set and prime speed pretty much.

when people do their SuperPi tests, what level does every one do (16k, 1M etc)?

EDIT - Is 20 Secs for 1M good? 6300 @ 3Ghz (430x7 5-5-5-15).

Got my E6600 its a L629B so hopefully should do well. Will be running it on a P5B deluxe with 2gig of crucial anniversary ram and a tuniq tower, cant wait to get tinkering again will post once its all built :D

How far do u think I can clock this spec?

* 1 x Intel Core 2 DUO E6300 "LGA775 Allendale" 1.86GHz (1066FSB) - OEM
* 1 x Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
* 1 x GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual
* 1 x Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Thanks

Only difference between yours and mine is that Ive got 2gb to your 1gb

Im at 3.22, but I got a feeling I could push it a little further, waiting for some power connectors for my case fans

after taking the thick sticker off my cooler temps dropped 6c, so ive clocked it a bit further now:)

^^ Just a shot of settings and orthos load temp, it is stable there, trust me ;)
