Core 9000 series

I didn't invest, big regrets ^^^^^

Come on, I don’t honestly think there is some recruitment reward scheme. But the level of evangelism is impressive.

No, its just you, and admittedly one or two others, i had an Intel CPU before this one and i was perfectly happy with it until i found something better.

Look, IMO Intel are starting to over price their ####, a lot, that's it.

Idk about you, another $10 on the AMD price and paid my mortgage....

Nice. Paid mine off once then bought a bigger house...can't wait to get rid of it again. At least it's fixed for the duration.

I was tipping AMD and ARM to friends some time back but neither they nor I could afford to invest lol. Nevermind there's always next time ;)

So don’t buy it...I’m not buying a 2080 for this very reason...I have the cash but I’m not stupid...

The difference is the 9900k is faster than 2700x so it’s going to be more expensive...wether you buy it or not is up to you...intel are overpriced...they always have been

Buying intel has always been the more expensive option....

Does this make it right ? No ...but just don’t buy it...

100% more expensive for 1/10th the "speed" gain?
Roflmao. Seems logic is lost somewhere :(

Whats next then? Justifying a £1200 Intel processor to combat the £300 3700X? Calling it "is faster so going to be more expensive"?
But I can see you justifying the the £10000 upcoming 28core Xeon, against the 2990WX.......

Or the V100 which is 20 times more expensive than the Vega 64, yet when comes to TensorFlow computing, is barely 15% faster......

Why?

Several reviewers put pressure on Principle Technologies to fix their flawed Intel sponsored review, it worked.
Those same reviewers may put pressure on Intel to lower the price, that wont work if we as consumers all sit in silence.

I don’t decide the prices...and I’m not justifying intels pricing...if they don’t sell then intel will drop the price to compete with AMD

They have done this in the past

And if those reviewers had sat in silence while Intel's sponsored flawed review showing 50% performance advantage had stuck they would have sold a lot more.

Why is it so offensive to you that people are critical of Intel's shenanigans that you want everyone to sit in silence?

Some people like to watch the world burn? ;)

You really think people are that stupid? Buying a 600 quid chip based on one review ? Lol :p

AND

Who says I want people to sit in silence? YouTube will have its voice once the NDA lifts...then people will get the truth..

Then they won’t buy...or they will

I’m struggling to understand what you don’t get...?

Eh? Stop being so dramatic lol

It’s a chip...it’s had a bent review...not the first time and it won’t be the last...VW were bending the emissions tests FFS!

Once the NDA is lifted and the benchmarks are out by reputable reviewers people will vote with their wallet..either buying it or not...

Intel's potential customers making it clear to them that they are not happy with what they are doing is far more effective than Youtubers saying it for people, its people not youtubers who buy their chips by the millions, if customers all sit in silence Intel would get the impression no one cares.

Look, i really don't give a crap about your attitudes to the things i say, i just don't understand it, i think i do now, and with that if you don't like what i say you don't have to read it, 'tough' as they say, i'll keep saying it so learn like it or put me on your ignore list i ain't stopping.

Lol, note the wink. It's all a bit of debating fun and people love to kick the big boys especially when they get caught out.

Intel don’t care about anything other than profit...

If people don’t buy the chips then intel won’t make their sales targets...then they will drop the price...

Diddums....I don’t like intels practices....lol...the best way is TO NOT BUY THE CHIP!

Which is why i make it clear i think £600 for a CPU that's only 12% faster than its less than half the price competitor is madness.

You know what, IMO at this point people shouldn't buy it, they should wait to see Ryzen 3000 before making a decision, its less than 6 months away.
