Here is my 540

After seeing someone have their fan controller inside the case i decided to move mine too as i never actually change the speed of the fans.

I need to sort out the noctua's next they are really starting to annoy me colour wise.

Also has anyone ever managed to paint the colours of the fan Rings? I fancy trying one of the ones i dont use to see if i can spray it silver or something

Whats everyone using as cheap dust filters on the case bottom under the hotswap bays?

This one fitted perfectly:

YOUR BASKET

Total : £8.96 (includes shipping : £2.48).

Just had to use sticky tape on the four corners to hold it to the base. Not an issue.

It was a build for someone else and I honestly never thought to try it on the top, as it had a H105 cooler in exhaust there, so didn't require a top filter really. It's about the right size for it, but may not fit perfectly. Hopefully if anyone buys it for the bottom, they can test it on the top first and let you know?

That looks great Loque. The downside to AIO coolers is excess hose though

@andy_mk3 What fans are you using in your case? Which way is your airflow, flowing?

3x AF120 blowing in the front. 2x SP120 exhaust up top on the radiator, and 1x AF140 on the rear exhaust.

Would you say that's the best setup for the case? As I'm quite tempted to copy it for my build.

I can't comment on it being the best setup, but it works fine for me! I have all my fans on a fan controller set to around 700rpm, it's reasonably quiet.

Copy it, it's definitely the best option IMO.

Regarding the AF120, is it better going for the performance editions and just setting their RPM to low? Or going with the quiet edition?

So im installing my WC parts atm,and i have relised to do the tubing that i want my ODD bay has got to removed,this in itself doesnt bother me.But im plannin on getting a lamptron FC5 in the next week or two,and intend on using it in the ODD obv

Is does any one know of a ghetto method of do so without the ODD bay? Or will i have to change my tubing route if i want to use the a FC ?
