Corsair confirmed they havent started shipping them with the H50's yet.

Surely Corsair just like most other major brands would have received some p55 mobo's and chips a few weeks before release so they could get their products ready.

Gonna order one now while its gone down in price.

Shame anyone with a AMD has to spend extra on top on getting the bracket.

I couldn't be bothered to wait.

Bought my rig.

When Corsair gets its butt into gear and gets the socket brackets out for the motherboard that came out months previously I'll buy the H50 for my i5.

How much more of a fail can it be for a cooler manufacturer to not have the brackets ready for a new socket they had warning of miles in advance.

*sigh*

Fully agree its totally unprofessional really but quite a few cooler companys are as bad as each other, not everyone is waiting around Noctua, Zalman, Scythe had their acts together so I bet a lot went for them instead.

For my i5/P55 rig, I'm just missing RAM & either a bracket for my True or I might just get the H50, I like the fact it's small & compact & does a good enough job as the others.

Anyone use Scythe Gentle Typhoons with the H50?

I'm not sure whether to go for Scythe Gentle Typhoons or Akasa Apache's, I've got some Yate Loon D12SL-12 but I'm guessing both the above fan types will far quieter & better for performance.

I'm about to get one here today in The Netherlands as a competitor here has one in stock :D My girlfriend will get my 'old' Tuniq Tower 120 in her overclocking rig that is soon to be ready:)

I have one question, I know it's on the same level or a bit better then most air cooling but how much difference does it make with a custom build cooling like a PA120.3 etc, is it much in terms of temperature?

I will post the difference at stock speed idle/load and will later start overclocking with it and post my result.
