Corsair H50 Water Cooling Kit

Hi

Just popped one of these in and ........wow I'm very impressed. its deadly silent and much much cooler than my Akasa Evo Blue.

Temps have dipped from 32 ish degrees to 25 idle.

All in all.....Im one happy chappy.

Haven't load tested this yet, but as said before I'm v impressed with my H50. Previous idle temps were 47C at 2700Mhz now I'm at 3000Mhz and temps still way lower @34C idle. The 42C peak was during some heavy file transfers between 3 drives, not sure how much that loads the cpu so please don't pay too much attention to that yet!

I'm still installing drivers and software on my new HD and Win 7 install. Once thats all done, I'll ramp things up a bit more and get some proper load testing done.

Under gaming core load temp is 45C max (Project reality 4hrs) - EDIT: 47C under Prime 95

@ Sunderland - My one that I received from OcUK 2 days ago did.

@ djkav - I would say so yes, but at a small penalty to cfm which could affect final temps. How do people with standard watercooling setups find the dust problem with their rads?

I'd be too afraid to get an 'accidental leak' in my system incase it blows my face off -.-

I wonder if Corsair replace damaged parts with exact replacements. What about in the case that the particular part you have isn't available?

by no means finished yet, got to get some 6-8mm barb things for the res, also make some tubes a bit shorter.

work in progress, air cooler on at mo, lol
