** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Why are people buying these? Air cooling is just as efficient and as quiet without the risk of leaks.

Starter for ten :
1) cheaper than a very high end air cooler of similar performance
2) will fit cases that high end air coolers will not

I would test it out of your case first mate, just in case.

A guy in this thread had his delivered yesterday and it was leaking everywhere

Erm, you're referencing the beginning of *this* thread.

Right well its already in the case, so i'll just get the kitchen towells out for the first power on and keep my hand on the switch on the PSU, but I think everything should be OK.

There is a molex connector and a 3 pin connector coming out of the block, which one(s) do I plug in? Is the 3 pin for the pump, and the molex for the fan headers on the block? (which I am not using)

*edit its okay I know what they are for now. :) Plugged 'em both in.

molex is for power

3-pin is to report rpm to mobo

(unless ive looked at the wrong review)

Cheers panyan. :)

Powered on with the H100 installed, pump is very quiet, can't hear it over my fans. Padded the top of my GPU and the ends of the tubes with kitchen roll and ran it for 20 minutes or so, no leakage to report, turned it off again.

I suppose its time to plug a monitor into it for the first time. :p (yep)

*edit* done so, all is fine, everything detecting correctly, all temperatures in check. Very happy! :D

I've got a Xigmatek Gaia cooler, half the price and I can easily run a 2500K at 4.7Ghz, would this cooler really perform any better?

Next person to be scaremongering about leaks is getting a holiday. These are clearly refurb units that have been made new again.

If you cannot see that from the pics posted already by happy customers then you are clearly only in the thread to trash it.

I would like to add something useful to the thread however. I had a problem with a H100 that ocuk really didn't have to sort out. Rich fixed everything and genuinely I feel he (they) went far above the call of duty.

Have I missed something? I've read through the last few pages of posts and I can't see any scaremongering about leaks only posts saying that the coolers look like new.

I would just like to add that mine is NOT leaking, and it is keeping my freshly tapped in overclock of 4.8GHz (1.4v) at a nice steady 60 ~ 65°C on Prime95 Blend. :)

*edit* after about 30 mins its closer to 70 now, but I am pulling the warm air from inside the case, out through the top of the case, in a warm room, on a warm day. :p
