** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Low 70's is good at 1.4 volts. What temps do you get running IBT, also what is the noise like when stress testing?

Im too scared to run IBT :p (will do it later)

Noise levels are reasonble, but by no means quiet. I turned the fans up about a 1/3 of the way, as I feel that for stress testing and folding, its a nice balance of noise and cooling. Normally the fan controller would be down on the stop with the fans ticking over. (im using a pair of Zaward Golf's - got 'em for £2.50 each on a today only a while ago)

*edit* ahh damn it failed after an hour :(

Have I missed something? I've read through the last few pages of posts and I can't see any scaremongering about leaks only posts saying that the coolers look like new.

oh ok...

Why are people buying these? Air cooling is just as efficient and as quiet without the risk of leaks.

+ this keep us informed... that along with the possibility of it leaking is keeping me slightly apprehensive.

But leaks RJK! Leaks!

It is evident that they are a massive problem because of the very low failure rate, the incredibly low number of leak reports, and the fact that mine has been fine for over 24 hours straight so far!

And what makes it worse, is that my Kuhler 620 was on 24/7 for 2 years with no leaks!

*spooky voice* Daaaangerous. :p

Oops. Sorry, I'd had a few beers and obviously missed my own post which I can't even remember writing :o

My new posting policy is not to comment on anything unless I have actually owned it and I will keep my mouth firmly shut on this product from now on.

Im tempted to get a H60 or H80 (which one?) and the 1 of the 7950 (probably MSI HD 7950 Twin Frozr III Boost Edition) deals, any ideas if this would be hard to set it up and if it would keep the GPU nicely cooled? Also i would need thermal paste? what about cooling the vram?

You would need a special part such as this or this, and yes you would preferably need cooling for the chips.

There are places in the UK which sell similar brackets, but I gave you those links because they are not direct competitors. Google it. :)

Oh, and H80 of course. :)

I have done this you will need a h80 and a copper shim of 0.5mm to bring the die up to height to contact the actual cooler.. u can buy cooper on ebay for £5. Then cut to size easy.. vram just buy some small heat sync's again off ebay. Works a treat
