Corsair Obsidian 750D Builds

A few more changes to my 750D today.

first installed a drain loop

and secondly after suffering with poor air flow for too long now I tried to install a 120mm fan into the side window of the case but managed to break the window :( so ordered myself a piece of 500x500 perforated brushed stainless steel plate, cut to size and replaced the window.

bought some black spray paint to match the case but actually really like the contrast of the stainless to the case.

From some benchmarking this afternoon the mod seems to have dropped 15'c off my load temps on my ti's

Did you get this in the UK?

Some shots of the front. The airflow cover seems to have attracted more dust but it might just be the greater amount of airflow sucking it onto it (and the work that's being done in the house). The filter is holding the majority of the dust on it - it was cleaned before installation but not too thoroughly - so it does look like it will need regular cleaning if you're going for big airflow.

Quick mess about with the mechanical hard drive positioning has also reduced the vibration significantly. It could only be heard in the room below, but now it's far quieter, as well as the anti-vibration fan mounts like this.. :D

Yes, the front ones are squashed but they're mounted correctly. It's just the filter and front panel squash the end when they're on. :)
Also, the fan cables are tucked away more neatly as well as now requiring less cables giving a cleaner inside.
