Council tax

You either overestimate the amount of multi million drug busts, or have no idea how much work policing is

Bingo, Police work as in getting the big timers not the geezer on the street with 20 notes worth of weed a pure waste of money and time for petty crimes.

Yeah looks like it. Wasn't aware of this, but google threw him up. We used to get a free local newspaper through the door to find issues like this but I don't think they can get the distributors any more.

Yeah I found out on our local newspaper online.

Madness, I don’t mind a rise if it goes to Police on the beat but I don’t like lining his pockets.

Ours is nearly 3k now. In other news the stupid Council complain of having no money at every opportunity and yet have spent £120,000,000 on the town centre. It's months late and £40,000,000 over budget already.

Go, Wokingham.
quite a bit of the town centre was a dump tbf ;)

Up 6% I think from memory.

Our bins weren't collected yesterday.

Still, I feel that I get better value for money from West Berkshire council than the leeches at Sefton council.

Band A property in Stafford. Gone up from £73 to £81 per month, single person's allowance. Sure it pays for the police, but I've never been in trouble with the law, so I take exception for having be penalised for paying for people who aren't on the straight and narrow.

+5.9 % Ive not got the breakdown with me but they really have pushed it as far as they could go.

Its annoying cause if my tv and broadband bill went up that much i'd tell them to stick it nothing you can do with this but wait to be shafted

Band e leeds council
Does'nt state increase on last year but..

Leeds council up 3%
Social care up 2%
Dog poo up 7.9%

I miss Wandsworth, the cheapest council tax in the whole of England

One of the few good things about living in the London Borough of Wandsworth.
